SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- There are beer festivals, and then there is "Beer Palooza!" It's happening this weekend in Scottsdale.

The first-ever event is a great way to beat the heat. The building housing the big event at WestWorld  is air-conditioned, and inside, there's a ton of cold beer.

More than 30 breweries will be pouring about 100 beers to try, some local and some national.

You can sample 20 beers for $40. There will also be a Beer Store at the event, so after trying all the beer, you can stock up for the upcoming 4th of July holiday.

Visitors can also enjoy games and activities like corn-hole, badminton and arm wrestling. A Guns 'N' Roses cover band will also be performing.

And don't forget about the food! Several food trucks will be on hand for the event, like the Mustache Pretzel truck, which makes pretzels in the form of mustaches.

And remember to never drink and drive. Discount Cab is a sponsor of the event and will have cabs in lint ready to drive folks home.
