PHOENIX (AP) -- The indictment from an investigation of a Phoenix-area car wash business and its staffing-service provider is expected to be unsealed Monday after people who were arrested in the case make their initial court appearances.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement says the investigation targets the owners and leaders of the two businesses and that multiple people face charges of criminal immigration fraud, identity theft and financial violations.
Fourteen people were arrested on criminal charges.
Eric Falbe, general counsel for Danny's Family Car Wash, says Sunday that the company is cooperating with investigators. He declined further comment.
A message left Sunday at HR Betty wasn't immediately returned.
