SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Police arrested a woman suspected of robbing a Chase Bank in North Scottsdale on Monday.

According to police, a female suspect entered the bank at Scottsdale and Lone Mountain roads shortly before 6 p.m. and showed a teller a demand note. She was given an undisclosed amount of money and left in a gold mid-sized sedan.

After releasing surveillance photos to the public, detectives received tips that helped identify the suspect as Charlotte Willenzik, 22, of California.

Willenzik was arrested Wednesday at her grandparents home in Cave Creek. Police said Willenzik is also a suspect in a robbery at a Phoenix bank the day before.

Detectives searched her room and said they recovered most of the cash taken during both robberies.

Police said she admitted committing both robberies to support a drug habit.

Willenzik was booked into Scottsdale City Jail on two counts of robbery and is being held in custody at the Maricopa County Jail.
