ORACLE, Ariz. -- Crews have contained a wind-driven brush fire that forced the evacuation of seven homes in the community of Oracle, about 40 miles northeast of Tucson.

Northwest Fire District officials say no injuries were reported, but one family is displaced after their home burned to the ground. Two sheds were also destroyed.

The homes evacuated were along East American Avenue. Residents were able to return Thursday night.

The brush fire reportedly broke out in a heavily wooded area near the Santa Catalina Mountains about 4:15 p.m. Thursday and grew to 20 acres. It was declared contained about 6 p.m.

Pinal County authorities say the fire's cause is under investigation but may have started with oily rags.

Crews from the Oracle Fire Department, Golder Ranch Fire District and Picture Rocks Fire District battled the blaze along with two airplanes and two helicopters
