PHOENIX -- One young Valley boy is setting out to prove you're never too small to make a big difference.
10-year-old P.J. Bartos has been raising money for cancer research for more than half of his young life.
"It makes me feel really good because I know I'm trying to save kids' lives," says P.J. "Once in the time of the world, there will be a cure for all cancers."
P.J. started a lemonade stand six years ago as an Arizona Ambassador with "Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation."
In that time, P.J. has already raised $24K.
His cause hits close to home for lots of people in the Valley. "The one that our grandson died from has already found a cure, and there are many ongoing projects that need funding," says Kathy Eager, who lost her grandson to cancer.
"When we heard about P.J. and what he was doing to raise funds for research, we thought, that's something that needs to be done, so what can we do to help?" says Jerry Eager .
P.J.'s goal is to raise $50K by the time he graduates from high school. So that means this pint-sized hero is already halfway there.
If you missed a chance to buy some lemonade from P.J., you can still help out by donating online.
