PHOENIX -- It may still be triple-digit weather, but back-to-school is right around the corner.

That means it's time to start thinking about backpacks for fall.

Jennifer Dennison of Phoenix Premium Outlets showed us how to save some money and still stay fashionable when it comes to back-to-school bags.

Phoenix Premium Outlets is home to many stores that feature a wide variety of bags. The little ones are sure to love the colorful backpacks found at Children's Place.

Leopard-print is popular for girls. And for boys, the camo look is a top-seller.

Teens are a little harder to please. "It's all about personal style and expression when it comes to teenagers," says Dennison. Many teens opt for a satchel-type bag instead of a standard backpack.

Guys might like messenger bags, which can fit books as well as laptops. Athletes can find bags to carry school supplies and athletic supplies as well.

A big fall preview sale kicks off at Phoenix Premium Outlets July 31.
