PHOENIX (AP) -- A monsoon storm is causing only short flight delays at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
Airport officials say departures and arrivals now are delayed about 20 minutes and operations are returning to normal.
That's down from up to two hours earlier Tuesday afternoon.
The heavy rain and low visibility forced several flights that were in-bound to Sky Harbor to be diverted to other airports.
Passengers and anyone picking up a passenger at Sky Harbor still are advised to check flight status before coming to the airport.
Earlier, there were departure delays up to two hours and several flights that were inbound to Phoenix were diverted to other airports.
