PHOENIX -- Police have released new information in the killings of a married couple in their north Phoenix home.

They released photos Wednesday of the couple each withdrawing money from a walk-up ATM near their home about 15 minutes apart late at night on June 28.

Officers reported finding the bodies of 81-year-old William Singer and 64-year-old Barbara Singer inside their home near 35th Avenue and Bell Road on July 2.

Detectives determined trauma and evidence at the scene indicates the deaths are a double homicide.

But police say they're still looking for leads in the case.

They say nobody else is seen in the bank ATM photos with either of the Singers.

"We believe that this potentially could have some relevance as it pertains to the suspect or suspects involved in this crime as it is late at night, probably about 10:30 or so, when these cash withdrawals are taken and we believe it is unlikely that they would have gone on their own at that time of day to go withdraw this money," Sgt. Steve Martos said.

The couple hadn't been seen for about a week before police went to their house to check on their welfare after a caretaker got no answer at the door.

"More than anything else it is so important to us that they not be able to do this to anyone else," William Singer Jr. said. "No one should have to go through what my parents experienced. No one should have to go through what we've experienced. That's the most important thing for us."

Anyone who may have seen either or both of these victims with someone that night is asked to call the Phoenix Police Department. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
