PHOENIX -- A storm system moving through Arizona will bring us a slight chance for a few, isolated showers and thunderstorms around metro Phoenix tonight.

The showers will be very pop-up in nature and will move quickly to the northeast.

We’re not expecting much in the way of measurable rainfall.

We’ll also see a cool down. By Tuesday, highs will only be in the low 70s.

Rain and snow showers are expected in the mountains of Arizona.

However, it looks like any potential accumulation is limited to eastern Arizona, where the White Mountains may see two to four inches of snow, depending on the elevation.

Bottom line: this is not a very moist storm.

After that, the weather pattern will quiet down for the rest of the week. We’ll expect highs warming into the 80s by Thursday and holding right through the weekend.
