PHOENIX -- Mostly cloudy conditions were the norm across much of Arizona on Thursday.
The clouds were thick enough that high temperatures were not quite as high as forecasted, but temperatures were still well above normal for this time of year.
Another weak weather system will sweep across northern Arizona on Friday, bringing widely scattered showers to the high country and rather breezy conditions to the Valley and across the state.
Still, Friday and Saturday highs around metro Phoenix will be in the upper 70s to low 80s, and no rain is in the forecast.
After that system, a very stable weather pattern will set up for next week. Expect high temperatures in the mid 80s and lots of sunshine.
