3 injured in crash at Cave Creek and Lone Mountain

PHOENIX -- Three people are in the hospital after an early morning crash in Phoenix.

It happened at the intersection of Cave Creek and Lone Mountain roads.

Aerial video from the Fort McDowell Casino News Chopper showed a mangled car in the intersection and what appeared to be an SUV on its roof in some brush off the side of the roadway.

According to emergency crews on the scene, two occupants were ejected from the vehicle that rolled. One person in the other vehicle suffered injuries to his or her lower body.

Paramedics transported all three victims to local hospitals. No information about those patients was immediately available.

A pole with a traffic signal and street sign was knocked down in the collision.

It's not clear what caused the wreck.
