3 armed men rob Phoenix jewelry store

PHOENIX -- Phoenix police are searching for three men who robbed a jewelry store Friday morning.

Sgt. Tommy Thompson said the suspects were armed with long guns when they robbed Jared the Galleria of Jewelry near Cactus Road and Tatum Boulevard outside Paradise Valley Mall at approximately 11 a.m.

There were eight to 10 people inside at the time of the robbery. No one was injured.

The suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of jewelry.

They fled in a 1990's white Dodge Dakota pickup truck, which may have had a red decal or sticker on the driver's door.

The suspects were dressed in all black clothing and had their faces covered. One suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 25 to 30 years old, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall and 180 pounds. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall and 180 pounds. The third suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches and 160 pounds.
