DOUGLAS, Ariz. -- A woman was arrested on Sunday for trying to smuggle 246 pounds of marijuana through the Port of Douglas, according to a Department of Homeland Security press release.

Officers chose a truck driven by Ana C. Gonzalez-Figueroa for further inspection. A narcotics dog alerted the officers to the presence of drugs in the truck.

During the inspection, officers found $123,000 worth of marijuana hidden within the truck's seats, undercarriage and spare tire. Agents seized the drugs and vehicle and referred Gonzalez-Figueroa to Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.
