PHOENIX -- A crash shut down traffic at a Phoenix intersection and sent two people to the hospital Friday morning.
A man and a woman in a crosswalk were hit by a vehicle at Glendale and 21st avenues. The woman landed on the windshield of the car before she was thrown into the street.
"A woman went up into the air when she hit the car and flopped right down into the street," said Howie Glaser, who witnessed the collision.
The roof of the vehicle was dented and the windshield was smashed.
Police are still investigating the crash.
There is no word yet whether charges will be filed.
