PHOENIX -- Police are searching for at least four suspects in a home invasion in Phoenix Monday morning.

It happened in the area southwest of 35th and Glendale avenues.

According to Phoenix police Sgt. Steve Martos, three children -- ages 6, 4 and 2 -- were inside at the time when the armed men broke in. The kids were not injured, but two adult men were reportedly pistol-whipped by the suspects.

Video from the scene showed one of those men, his head bandaged, talking to officers.

Police said the suspects demanded money, valuables and vehicles.

"The suspects fled the scene with valuables from the home and possibly two vehicles," Martos said. "We are still working out the details."

It's not clear if the victims know the suspects or if the home was deliberately targeted.

This is the second time this week a home in the area has been invaded. Neighbors in the area say they are worried when they hear about incidents like this.

"I've been in the neighborhood 27 years," one neighbor said. "It was such a nice, quiet, family neighborhood to move into. But in the last 10 years, it's changed a lot."

Police are now searching for the two vehicles taken by the suspects in this crime. One is a 2007 gray Ford Focus with Oklahoma plate 644KNG. The other is a 2013 white Jeep Grand Cherokee with Arizona plate 4049YK.
