PHOENIX (AP) -- Bond is set at $1 million for a Phoenix man accused in a gang-related drive-by shooting last year that killed a woman and wounded three other people.

Phoenix police arrested 18-year-old Marquis Daquan Young in the case Saturday. He had his initial appearance Tuesday in Maricopa County Superior Court.

Young is being held on suspicion of first-degree murder, drive-by shooting, misconduct involving weapons, being a member of a street gang, marijuana possession and other charges.

Police say a woman was fatally shot while standing on a street corner near a Phoenix house party on Nov. 9, 2013. Three other people were shot in the drive-by shooting involving rival gangs.

Authorities searched Young's apartment and reported finding a gallon-sized bag of marijuana.

Court documents show Young doesn't have a lawyer yet.
