Frequently Asked Questions
- What services are available?
- Calvary offers a full continuum of care that includes detoxification, inpatient treatment, residential rehabilitation, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient services and aftercare.
- Will insurance cover my treatment costs?
- Calvary works with most insurance plans, and is a preferred provider for Aetna, Cigna and United Health Care to name a few. One of our Patient Representatives can easily contact your insurance company to verify the benefits that are available to you. We also have affordable self-pay alternatives and financing options available.
- What ages of patient do you serve?
- Calvary provides recovery treatment for men and women ages 18 and older, including a specialized Young Adult program for those 18 to 25 years of age.
- What if I don’t want Faith Based treatment?
- Calvary’s treatment model is based upon the principles of the 12-step program outlined in Alcoholics Anonymous. This requires an examination of one’s spiritual relationships. At Calvary we commit to meeting each person at the point of their current spiritual beliefs. This is why we offer two treatment tracks: a Christ-centered track and a traditional 12-Step track. Each approach is offered in a healthy environment with great sensitivity to each individual’s beliefs.
- Will my family be able to be involved in treatment?
- Calvary staff believes it is critical to involve family throughout the recovery process. There are scheduled visiting hours on weekends and all visits are coordinated through the primary therapist who will take into consideration, progress in treatment and patient privacy as required by HIPAA. The family is also encouraged to participate in family therapy, the W.E.C.A.R.E. Family Weekend (“Where Education, Communication, And Recovery Empower”) and weekly no cost Family Support Groups. Family involvement applies to both Arizona residents and those coming from out of state.
