Bedmart, Arizona’s largest mattress retailer, is the nobody that beats everybody’s prices – guaranteed. The firm was started in Tucson in 1988 by Chet Goldberg. He was following a long-standing family tradition. His family has been doing business in Arizona since 1862 when his great-grandfather opened a general store in the Phoenix area.

Today, there are 21 Bedmart stores across the State. “We give customers more selection and the lowest price. If a customer brings in any ad or legitimate offer, we will give them the same, similar or a better product for at least 5% less,” Goldberg explained. “We know how to work with factories to create value, whether it’s in large production runs or the way we order and conduct our business. We pay our bills as fast as the goods come in, which helps the factories with their cash flow and anything we do for the factories benefits us by helping us get better prices for our customers.”

Bedmart stores have as many as 80 different mattresses on display. “We carry the best mattress brands available so that each customer can find the right mattress at the best price,” Goldberg continued. Bedmart brands include Simmons, Sealy, Spring Air, Tempur-Pedic, Europa and Therapedic.

“Today’s customers must choose from a large variety of mattresses. There are mattresses built from the bottom up that never need to be turned. There are Viscoelastic or memory foam mattresses, latex mattresses, pillow-top mattresses and so many more that buying a mattress can be a difficult choice,” Goldberg continued.

Bedmart has an extensive training program for its salespeople. “Helping a customer buy the correct bed takes a sleep professional. Every salesperson in every Bedmart store has the training to answer questions, give the customer educated recommendations and help them make the best decision. Our goal is to serve every customer better than anyone else,” Goldberg continued. “When we say ‘before you go to bed, go to Bedmart,’ we’re saying we honestly believe that we will give each customer the best value, the best service and the best night’s rest.”
