PHOENIX – A man was arrested for murder after allegedly killing his terminally-ill wife.
Sanford Garfinkel, 51, was arrested in Tucson on Thursday. He reportedly called police in the morning and said he killed his 56-year-old wife.
Doctor-assisted suicide is legal in some places, but a husband killing his terminally-ill wife?
Garfinkel told authorities he did it to end her suffering. He then tried to kill himself by trying to take a bunch of pills. He survived the suicide attempt and now faces first-degree murder.
