GLENDALE, Ariz. – Three people are in custody after a Glendale Police Department BAIT vehicle was stolen early Thursday morning.

Police say the suspects involved took the car just before 6 a.m. from the area of 61st Avenue and Olive and moved the vehicle to an apartment complex in the area of 61st Avenue and Northern.

Detectives with the Glendale Police Auto-Theft and Repeat Offender Squads began conducting surveillance on the stolen car.

Just before 7 a.m. a woman allegedly got into the BAIT vehicle while three others got into another vehicle and followed the stolen car out of the apartment complex.

Detectives say both cars stopped at a convenience store at 59th Avenue and Cactus Road where police officers were able to detain all four subjects without incident.

Three of the four people were arrested on various felony charges in connection to the auto theft. Meghan M. Moses, 25, Nicolas B. Polischuk, 27, and Brandon W. Walls, 24, were taken into custody.

Moses was allegedly driving the BAIT car, Polischuk was driving the second vehicle and was armed with a handgun and Walls was a passenger in the second vehicle.

Police say all three suspects have prior criminal records. They are being held at a Maricopa County jail.
