Brandy Aguilar
Brandy Aguilar's broadcasting experience spans more than 10 years. After earning her Bachelor's degree from the Walter Cronkite School at Arizona State University, Aguilar started her career as a producer at KAET in Tempe, Arizona.
She went on to KTVK, Arizona's Family, as a writer for Good Morning Arizona and quickly moved up the ranks on the morning show to hold a variety of positions that include line producer and show producer.
Aguilar then made the transition to the Good Evening Arizona show where she became the Health producer.
Later, going a different direction, Aguilar took on the role of Internet reporter/producer with an emphasis in Health and Sports.
In addition to her work, Aguilar has received a Planned Parenthood Maggie Award in 2007 and was nationally recognized for her work on a two-part series titled "Sex Education in Arizona Schools."
She has also participated in the RTNDA German/American Journalist Exchange Program in 2005, visiting Germany, Belgium and Poland.
Aguilar also studied International Relations making trips to the European Commission (EU) and NATO headquarters.
When not working, she loves to spend time with her family, travel and run. She completed the New York City Marathon in 2006.
