Phoenix Post Office urges tax filers to mail early

To assist last-minute tax filers on Tuesday, April 15 - the federal and state deadline 
for filing income tax returns - the Phoenix Post Office will offer a satellite 
drive-through drop-off location from 5 to 9:30 p.m. at the Phoenix Municipal Stadium 
parking lot at 56th Street and East Van Buren Street. 
 
Possible airport shuttle strike
The Amalgamated Transit Union ("ATU") announced today that the National Labor RelationsBoard ("NLRB") has filed an official complaint in federal court
against Veolia Transportation ("Veolia"), the $45 billion-dollar multi-national corporation that services the city's airport
bus shuttles from the Rental Car Center, for allegations of labor practice violations. ATU Local 1433, which represents the shuttle bus operators and
curb side ambassadors announced that the membership will be voting tomorrow April 8, 2014 to accept or reject Veolia's latest offer.
 
Free Burgers for a year! 
Today, Modern Grove Neighborhood Eatery and Market will celebrate the grand opening of its first location in the Phoenix market.
To welcome the local community, they will be offering a special deal - free gourmet burgers for a year for the first 50 people to walk in the door today 
which will entitle them to their choice of free "Gobbler" turkey burgers or "Classic" beef burgers (one year, limit one per month). 
Modern Grove is located on the northwest corner of Tatum Blvd. and Greenway Rd. at 15530 N. Tatum Blvd Suite 160, Phoenix, Arizona 85032. 
It is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, from 7 a.m. - 10 p.m.
 
Gilbert to Host USA BMX Open House
Representatives from the Town of Gilbert will host a second open house on April 8, from 6pm-8pm, at the Council Chambers at Town Hall, to discuss the 
potential partnership with USA BMX to develop a new facility in Gilbert.
 
Student Jazz Ensembles to Perform for High School Jazz Night
