FITPHX BASKETBALL CAMP
Basketball enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels are invited to dribble, pass and shoot alongside former Phoenix Suns' favorite Steve Hunter and other professional athletes at the free FitPHX Basketball Camp from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Grand Canyon University, 3300 W. Camelback Road.  To pre-register, visit fsgf.org or call 623-326-4267.   This event is hosted by the city's FitPHX team: Mayor Greg Stanton, Councilman Daniel T. Valenzuela and Olympic Gold Medalist Misty Hyman, and Grand Canyon University and Future Stars Global Foundation. Featured star athletes include: Seth Joyner (Denver Broncos and Arizona Cardinals), John Bronson (Arizona Cardinals) and Nick Lowery (Kansas City Chiefs Hall of Famer).   The two-hour event will include agility activities, basketball skills challenges with professional athletes, and a short game featuring Mayor Stanton, Councilman Valenzuela, Misty Hyman, professional athletes and a few lucky youth participants (to be selected at random).   For more information about FitPHX, visit phoenix.gov/fitphx or call 602-262-7446.

 PHOENIX FASHION WEEK PRESENTS "MIM ROCKS FASHION" MARCH 29TH
Phoenix Fashion Week kicks off its 2013 series of events this month by teaming up with the Musical Instrument Museum (MIM) for the fourth-annual "MIM Rocks Fashion" spring showcase. Presented by Scottsdale-based Focal Point Salon, "MIM Rocks Fashion" serves as a music-themed tribute to top stylists from Phoenix to Tucson and showcases on-trend spring fashions from a talented lineup of designers and boutiques.
On Friday, March 29th, starting at 7:00 p.m., guests at MIM will be treated to a Meet & Greet Mixer, trendy spring fashions and classic designer styles, with an interactive fashion show, entertainment by a special musical guest, followed by an after party. A portion of the event proceeds will benefit the M.U.S.I.C. Foundation of Arizona.
Special guest Bri Seeley, PHXFW 2012 Designer of the Year will be on hand from Seattle, Washington to launch her spring 2013 Escape collection for "MIM Rocks Fashion" before its April debut on Zappos.com.
The other (4) top brands are: Clothes Minded, ENVY by Khanh, Divaz Boutique and Amir's La Voûte, each showcasing fourteen runway looks conceived by notable Arizona based stylists set to the sounds of internationally-renowned DJ Q and performance's by the night's special musical guest.

"Spring Into Adoption" Event
Do you want to adopt a cute animal that needs a good home? Maricopa County Animal Care and Control is holding its "Spring Into Adoption"event this weekend. Starting March 29th through March 31st you can adopt a dog or puppy for $17. If you are looking for a cat or kitten, there is no adoption fee. 

Inetnon Gefpå'go
Inetnon Gefpå'go is an award-winning program whose mission is to promote awareness and pride in Chamorro heritage through performance arts. This is accomplished through youth interaction with traditional Master Artists, community presentations and cultural exchange. Membership in the group begins in middle school then continues into the community-based, high school and adult after-school program. Here, they further their cultural learning, continue performing throughout the island and represent Guam at major tourism promotions and festivals around the world.

Come out to experience Guam's world-renowned performance group, under the direction of Vince Reyes. Inetnon Gefpa'go will perform some of their award winning numbers to showcase both traditional & modern Chamoru dances. With a special guest performance by Ben "Maga Lahi" Lizama.

Eddie Basha Memorial
Eddie Basha's Memorial  will be held at ASU's Gammage Auditorium on April 6th at 10am. This event is open to public.
The family is asking for donations to St Vincent De Paul Salvation Army and First Things First in lieu of flowers.
