Bowen’s Hope is an organization that helps kidney disease kids and their families at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Children who receive dialysis treatments go to the hospital 3-4 times a week, and each dialysis treatment lasts 3-4 hours. It is not only demanding on the kids receiving treatments but their families as well. The mission of Bowen’s Hope is to help the families with their everyday needs such collecting gas and grocery cards, cleaning supplies and also helping with Camp Maska, a camp for kidney kids. By helping the families with these everyday needed supplies, it helps lighten their load, allowing them to spend more time with their child. Over the Christmas holiday there will be an opportunity to sponsor families, helping to provide for basic needs such as clothing and other needed supplies. If you would like to help please go to www.bowenshope.com and learn how you can get involved.
