PHOENIX – The touring version of Thunder From Down Under is in town and on "Good Morning Arizona" Friday, reporter Yetta Gibson talked with two of the performers.

Thunder From Down Under started at Talking Stick Resort last night and continues tonight and tomorrow at 8 p.m. Both shows are sold out.

The show is based in Las Vegas, but there is also a traveling group. All performers are from Australia.

“We’re 100 percent born and bred, and bloody proud of it,” said Ryan Paki, a performer on the traveling Thunder From Down Under.

To become part of the traveling group, show members first go through a recruitment process in Australia. Owners of the company will look at videos, performances and photos of performers.

“We have an interview to see if they like us and like the feel of us,” said Ryan Berwick, another performer.

The touring version of Thunder From Down Under tours 10 months of the year.

“We go anywhere from Iowa to Canada,” Paki said.

Before joining the show four years ago, Paki worked in the construction industry for most of his life. Berwick managed a gym.
