PHOENIX -- A special Monday morning makeover helped three deserving moms get a new look and a few minutes of much-needed pampering.

Our Monday "Mobile Makeover" truck from Spa Fly was parked outside Phoenix Children's Hospital. And our three special makeover subjects are moms who have kids being treated in the hospital.

"My son is in here getting a shunt replacement," mom Lisa Adamo tells 3TV. "He was diagnosed with hydrocephalus, and he's on his third shunt, and he's six months old."  The family has been at the hospital since Thanksgiving, so today's makeover was a welcome break.

Kelly Morris' son is 15. "He had a kidney transplant last Wednesday, and his dad gave it to him," she says.

Finally we checked in on Emily Bannon. "My son is three weeks old," she says. "He received a heart transplant when he was just five days old."

The moms had great things to say about the care their children are getting at Phoenix Children's Hospital. "They've been incredible," says Emily. "The doctors, the nurses. Everybody has been taking such good care of us. We really couldn't have asked for anything else, and their support has been really valuable."

"As a mom, I can totally appreciate the situation these parents are going through," says Spa Fly owner Renee Moore. "Just to give them a quick break in their day, and how much time they're spending here at the hospital, to lift some spirits and keep everybody happy and positive. It's just a privilege for Spa Fly to be able to do."

Spa Fly is a mobile beauty truck that offers a variety of services including manicures, pedicures, shampoos, blow outs, updos, hair extensions, facials and waxing.
