GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- The same ingenuity that played a role in creating the Internet can be seen right here in the Valley.

Heidi Goitia introduced "Good Morning Arizona" viewers to students at Estrella Foothills High School who are using math, science and technology to outsmart the competition.

They're taking the robot they built, Kodex, to California to compete against 71 other teams.
