PHOENIX -- Scottsdale's SouthBridge is going to transform into an Italian "piazza" on Friday, April 4 and Saturday, April 5 for the first ever Italian Festival of Arizona.

The celebration begins Friday night with Italian music, Italian wine tasting and delicious Italian bites from over 10 local Italian bistros. Stroll along the exhibits while shopping for hand-crafted items and products.

The two-day event will also feature a demonstration on how to make homemade pasta and a pizza cook-off.

3TV's Javier Soto gave "Good Morning Arizona" viewers a preview.

Sponsored by the Italian Association Association of Arizona, admission is $10. Children younger than 10 get in free.

The festival entrance is at 7114 E. Stetson Drive, Old Town Scottsdale. Free parking is available on Marshall Way.
