PHOENIX -- Debbie Hernandez from The Home Depot showed how you can save money and go green by making your own wrapping paper.

Most commercial wrapping papers cannot go in the recycle bin, but the butcher paper Hernandez used can be recycled. Just make sure you remove the tape.

According to Earth911.com, "wrapping paper and shopping bags alone account for about 4 million tons of trash annually in the U.S."

You can find Hernandez at the Home Depot located at Arrowhead, off the Loop 101 and 59th Avenue. For more information, visit www.homedepot.com.
