PHOENIX -- When you're traveling, particularly by plane, it's hard to pick and choose which beauty items can fit in your bag.

Lisa Kasanicky, founder of AZ Spa Girls, showed us products that can be easily toted without having to compromise your looks.

Items like towelettes and foundation are good to keep handy because they don't count against the liquid limit.

Other things that fit easily into your purse, like oil-control blotters and sunscreen, are handy to have. Kasanicky says you never know when you'll be outside longer than you expect.

If you're sharing a hotel room with someone, earplugs and a sleep mask may be a good idea to bring along in case your roommate has the television on. You can also bring a travel candle, as well as socks if you don't like walking on hotel room floors.

When packing makeup, the less you bring the better. Kasanicky recommends trying to find all-in-one products, such as a lipstick-like container that includes blush, lipstick and highlighter.

Many popular travel destinations are humid at this time of year. You can save your hair with Frizz-Ease and dry shampoo from John Frieda. Curly-haired women may also benefit from the Ouidad products.

Any of these items can be found in drug stores, as well as Ulta.
