PHOENIX -- AMC Arrowhead 14 is showing off its brand new look! AMC has completed renovations on the movie theater at 79th Avenue and Bell. The luxury theater now features incredibly comfortable luxury recliners in every seat in the building.
Guests can lean back and put their feet up at the push of a button. And to ensure maximum comfort, AMC has removed significant seating capacity in every auditorium, allowing guests ample space to recline or stretch their legs, and providing larger armrests for everyone.
"It's the same building, but it's basically a brand new theater," says AMC's Ryan Noonan. "We took out every seat in the building and we put in these recliners, which are phenomenal to watch a movie in."
The renovated concession area now offers hot foods, such as chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, jalapeno poppers and pizza. It will also feature a variety of healthier options.
Thirsty? Moviegoers can now choose from more than 120 drink options at new Coca-Cola Freestyle machines.
"The best possible guest experience is at the heart of everything we do. Whether that's through numerous concession options, incredibly comfortable chairs or an amazing movie presentation, we want our guests to be excited about coming out to the movies and coming back more often," said Mark McDonald, executive vice president of development at AMC.
Luxury theaters are the new trend. "It's something we're doing across the country now," says Noonan.
