Tomatoes

If you are thinking about tomatoes in the spring you need to start now.

Start by purchasing seeds of short season types , such as Early Girl or the disease resistant Celebrity. Second, plant the seed in the seed starter mix and space the containers in a sunny window sill inside the house. After the seedlings start growing; Plant them on the south side of your home against the wall where they can take advantage of thermal mass and plant them side ways in the soil to take advantage of the warm upper 3 inches of the soil. Protect them from frost and fertilize with Extreme Juice every 2 weeks and look what you will have......
