Ooh la la, this adorable little shop brings a bit of Paris to Scottsdale, turning out dainty sandwiches, quiches, simple side salads, gorgeous pastries and the prettiest, most buttery jasmine-butter cookies you will ever eat. Thank heavens owners Duc and Noelle Liao (he's a fashion photog; she's a former model) left their dreary lives in France to come to Scottsdale and raise a family. Duc (who got his training at Le Cordon Bleu), does all the baking, offering about 20 small, incredibly priced selections every day, many of which are Paris pastry shop classics. Here, you'll find Le Carre, the Mont Blanc, the Paris Brest, a handful of dainty tarts (try the milk chocolate-caramel), flaky croissants, wonderful muffins and tea so good you'll want to buy some for take-home, which you can. By the way, don't overlook the savories. Love the smoked duck, foie gras and Brie sandwiches too. Hours: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday. $
