PHOENIX -- Day six in the trial of missing Baby Gabriel's mom Elizabeth Johnson started with prosecutors calling to the witness stand a couple of people from Texas who interacted with Johnson in late 2009 after the young mom fled with her infant son to San Antonio.

"She basically said she needed a baby sitter," Analisa Urias told jurors Monday.

Urias said that, at the time, she advertised herself as a baby sitter on Craigslist and got a call from a woman identifying herself only as "Elizabeth" who was seeking a baby sitter for the following day at San Antonio's Home Gate Suites Hotel.

Urias told the court that for $40 she baby-sat 8-month-old Gabriel Johnson for about 2 1/2 hours one afternoon.

Johnson told her, she said, that she was going to use the time to look for work.

Urias also told jurors the baby appeared healthy and safe at the time she cared for him.

If Johnson killed the baby, as she initially told the child's father, Logan McQuery, then Urias was probably one of the last people to see Gabriel alive.

Johnson later changed her story for police, saying that she gave the baby away to an unidentified couple in a San Antonio, Texas, park.

The child has not been seen since late December 2009.

In the afternoon, prosecutors called a series of law officers including Tempe police Sgt. Brian Thompson.

Thompson read for jurors a number of MySpace messages sent back and forth between Johnson and McQuery in the days leading up to Johnson's ill-fated trip to Texas.
