PHOENIX – Wednesday at Channel 3 I started out my day by putting together the weather graphics and maps from Chief Meteorologist Royal Norman’s 7-day forecast.

This week looks like it will be fairly pleasant with temperatures peaking at 108 degrees on Friday and cooling down to 102 degrees on Monday.

Along with those somewhat cooler temperatures we are going to be seeing a chance of showers Wednesday night and Sunday with very slight chances of afternoon and evening showers later on into next week.

Tuesday’s big dust storm was quite a story in the Valley as well as all across the country; Royal made some new weather graphics for the storm to explain the formation of the dust cloud and during his broadcast showed plenty of the Weather Watcher photos of the dust storm sent in by.

During the broadcast of Good Evening, Arizona! I got to sit in the studio and watch from behind the scenes. I noticed while Royal was giving one of his weather broadcast I made a mistake on the average high. I wrote that it is normally 16 degrees today… oops! It was really supposed to be 106 degrees.

Wednesday was a great day at Channel 3 and I will be back in Thursday with another update.
