PHOENIX (AP) -- Storms in the Midwest have led to delays in air travel at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
Officials say 300 flights have been canceled at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport because of high winds. Midway International Airport is reporting few cancellations.
Sky Harbor spokeswoman Deborah Ostreicher says dozens of flights have been affected.
She tells The Associated Press that flight delays have also occurred at airports in Denver, Detroit, Philadelphia and New York.
Ostreicher says passengers heading from Phoenix to Chicago with scheduled morning flights are instead milling around the terminal hoping to leave by early afternoon.
