LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. -- It's springtime and that means baby animals have arrived at the Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium.

The new residents include a zebra, patas monkeys, ring-tailed lemurs, scimitar horned oryx and warthogs.

Visitors will see new arrivals at almost every turn throughout the 66-acre zoo and aquarium grounds as well as inside the baby Animal Nursery building.

An 8-week-old male lion on display in the nursery seems to have settled into his temporary home, according to the zoo staff. In the coming months, Sampson will be moved to a large outdoor display and eventually zoo managers hope to introduce him to Wildlife World's year-old lioness, Delilah.

Time grows short to see the pair of mountain lion cubs on temporary display at the nursery. In just a few weeks, they will be traveling to their permanent home at a zoo in the Midwest.

Wildlife World's specially trained keepers have helped raise dozens of different species of wild and endangered animals over the past quarter century.

Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium is located at 16501 W. Northern Ave. in Litchfield Park. For more information, call 623-935-WILD or visit www.Wildlifeworld.com
