PHOENIX -- Their mother was living as a stray when she brought this litter of three into the world. All she could offer the tiny tabby cats was a hard and dangerous life on the streets.
A few neighbors would look out for the cat family and leave food out for them, but nobody ever took them in and each night they would sleep in the bushes along the busy street.
While searching for food, the mother was struck by a car and when one of the neighbors found her in the street, they went searching for the three babies as they had no one to look out for them any more.
The 2-month-olds were brought to the Arizona Humane Society where they are now searching for a new family and a forever indoor home.
Skeet, Isadore and Easley are extremely sweet, very curious and super playful. The sound of pitter pattering paws can be heard as they speed down the stairs, trample through the living room, and bolt down the hallway. They jump, leap, bound, dash, swat and chase any toy that wiggles or moves.
It isn't often but when they finally reach the point of exhaustion they seek out an available lap to cuddle on.
They prefer to be close to their owner and each has a THUNDERING purr which rumbles in your ear when they nuzzle their whiskers in your neck.
They will need a slow introduction to other four-legged roommates and to children, as well.
They are available NOW at the Arizona Humane Campus for Compassion located at 1521 W. Dobbins Road in Phoenix.
Each has an adoption fee of $75. This fee includes their spay or neuter surgeries, first vaccinations, a collar with an ID tag, a pet carrier and a follow-up veterinary exam.
