During these tough economic times, MCACC wants to take some of the strain off keeping your pets healthy. MCACC’s Uno por Uno program will be holding a FREE Rabies Vaccination Clinic for your dogs and cats May 12. The clinic will be held in the Islands Fine Burgers and Drinks parking lot at 12811 N. Tatum Blvd., in Phoenix from 6:00 am – 9:00 am. Dogs must be on a leash less than 6 feet in length and cats need to be in carriers.

It is important to vaccinate your pet against rabies. Rabies, an infectious viral disease, affects the nervous system of humans and other mammals. It is almost always fatal once symptoms appear. Rabies can be eliminated by maintaining current rabies vaccinations for your pets, public education, and seeking appropriate medical care for you or your pet, if bitten.
