PHOENIX -- It’s National Puppy Day today and the Arizona Humane Society encourages you to celebrate by adding Ebony to your life!

This seven-month-old Labrador retriever/Whippet mix is friendly puppy who has great energy and is ready, willing and able to learn new basic commands and welcomes your help in becoming fully housetrained. She already has a head start with understanding “sit.”

This beautiful girl loves to chase a ball around the yard and will bring it back – most of the time. She has a heart of gold and lots of love to give.

If you think you’re ready to welcome a new puppy into your life, please visit the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix.

Her adoption fee is $160 and includes her spay surgery, first set of vaccinations, collar, ID tag, leash and a free, follow-up veterinary exam.

If Ebony’s not the pet for you, please be sure to check out the many other amazing dogs, cats and critters ready for adoption at the Arizona Humane Society’s Web site at www.azhumane.org.
