This affectionate torbie colored kitty didn’t obtain the name Kisses because she enjoys smooching with her sandpaper cat tongue. The fact of the matter is that she purrs with delight when she receives kisses and cuddles from her humans.
Feeling a bit deprived after living on the streets as a lonely stray, Kisses enjoys soaking up ear scratches from A.H.S. volunteers and hopefully she will soon enjoy whisker rubs from her very own family.
When Kisses isn’t sprawled out on the couch with her family, this mellow 3-year-old can be spotted near a sunny window as she soaks up sunshine and watches the birds fly by. She would appreciate a tall kitty jungle gym or cat tree to explore, scratch and nap on. Much like a kitten she will dash and scurry from one end of the house to the other chasing after a crinkle toy.
She will need plenty of time to adjust to dogs, kids and other cats in her new home.
She is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. Her adoption fee is only $20 because she is a member of our Lonely Heart’s Club. This fee includes her spay surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar, a pet carrier, an AHS I.D. tag and a follow-up veterinary exam. For more information about Kisses, please call (602) 997-7586 ext. 1045 and ask for animal ID number A293048 or log on to www.azhumane.org.
Please note: This pet might have been adopted by the time you visit the shelter; however, the AHS has many more wonderful pets that also need loving homes. Please take a moment to meet some of the other homeless dogs, cats and other companion animals at the shelter! To see all our adoptable animals right now, www.azhumane.org/findapet.
