One-year-olds are hardly known for their parenting skills, but Lacie was a devoted mother and cared for her kittens until they were adopted. After a few weeks on the adoption floor Lacie came down with a kitty cold, and she was sent to a loving foster home where she recovered completely.
She has had a long journey at the Arizona Humane Society, but now this brown-tabby is finally looking for a place to call home. Lacie hopes to stumble upon numerous nooks in her new home where she can curl up and take afternoon naps. This laid-back couch potato loves to lounge around in arm chairs and keep her human companions company while they watch television. Lacie is very affectionate too, and she will never miss the opportunity to curl up on a cat fancier’s lap and purr readily.
Lacie is a wonderful cat for a family who currently has other four-legged friends, and Lacie wouldn’t mind sharing her new home with a dog or cat roommate. Lacie hasn’t been introduced to small children, and although she is an outgoing kitty, she will need some time to adjust to any kids in her new home.
Lacie is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. During the month of October, AHS is having a Feline Adoption Special and all felines are half of the adoption fee. Lacie’s adoption fee is only $25. This fee includes her spay surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar, a pet carrier, an AHS I.D. tag, and a follow-up veterinary exam.
