After picking up a second job, Bandita’s family no longer had time to spend with a playful Boxer mix, and with a tearful goodbye they surrendered their beloved doggie to the Arizona Humane Society. Now this fun-loving two-year-old is looking for a new family who lives an active lifestyle and has time to entertain a playful pooch. Bandita would appreciate daily walks and a spacious yard where she can gallop around and play fetch. This enthusiastic girl counts down the hours until her evening walk, and as soon as she spots the leash in her owners hands she will wiggle from head to tail.

Bandita is very well-mannered and not only is she leash trained and housetrained but she knows the “sit” command like the back of her paw. This clever canine is eager to learn new tricks, and with tasty treats she can be persuaded to learn other commands.

Bandita loves to surround herself with dog lovers (of any age) who appreciate sloppy kisses and will never miss the chance to give her a belly rub. She is always excited to meet other canines, but she may be a little too rambunctious for some dogs. This curious canine tends to chase kitty cats (especially if they run,) and she must be introduced slowly to felines. Bring the whole family to the shelter to meet Bandita.

She is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. Her adoption fee is only $110. This fee includes her spay surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar and leash, an AHS I.D. tag, and a follow-up veterinary exam. For more information about Bandita, please call (602) 997-7586 ext. 1045 and ask for animal ID number A280380 or log on to www.azhumane.org.

Please note: This pet might have been adopted by the time you visit the shelter; however, the AHS has dozens more wonderful pets that also need loving homes. Please take a moment to meet some of the other homeless dogs, cats and other companion animals at the shelter! To see all our adoptable animals right now, www.azhumane.org/findapet.
