FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) -- Northern Arizona University is expecting its fifth consecutive year of record-breaking enrollment.
Officials at the school say enrollment is expected to exceed 25,000 -- up nearly 1,500 from last year. More than 17,500 of those students attend the main campus in Flagstaff.
A senior vice president, David Bousquet, attributes the growth to a program that guarantees locked-in tuition rates for undergraduate students.
The state's three universities will release their official enrollment numbers later this month.
