PHOENIX -- Tommy, a golden retriever, was found roaming the streets of Phoenix. Hard to believe but he is only one of the 121 animals that are surrendered to the Arizona Humane Society on average each and every day.

Tommy came to AHS wounded, covered in scratches and bruises. He received his second chance at life because of the work of the Arizona Humane Society. Tommy is now ready to find his forever home.

You may not be able to take Tommy home but you can help animals like him by participating in our Project 121 campaign. You can help by participating in our Virtual Pet Walk, donate at Safeway during the month of July or tune in to our Pet Telethon on Saturday, Aug. 25, on 3TV and CW6 at 12:30 p.m.
