For children in Arizona's foster care system, the age of 18 is a scary and uncertain time. That's when the state, which has been their parent and guardian, severs the ties and sends them out on their own. It's called "aging out" of the system. As azfamily.com's April Warnecke explains, some special volunteers help make the transitions a little easier.
