Ever since Joe was a little kid, when he realized he wasn't going to be Spiderman or play centerfield for the Yankees, he wanted to be a sportscaster. Years later, after soaking up sunshine at the University of South Florida, the dream become reality. Joe's career began as a promotions producer for SportSouth Network in Atlanta. Joe says he was fortunate enough to work with some fantastic people and he won four Emmy Awards. His trek to Phoenix has taken him all over the country, including El Paso, Tampa, Bakersfield, Lake Charles and Little Rock. He's traveled from coast to coast. In that span, Joe has won two Emmy Awards, two Edward R. Murrow Awards and seven Associated Press Awards. He looks forward to continuing his career at CBS 5. Spending a good portion of time in the valley, Joe says he's glad his entire family can call the Grand Canyon State home. His hobbies are simple ones: enjoying my dual identity as a superhero, vampire slaying, comic book collecting, enjoying the beach anytime I can get to and spending time with my two daughters -- the loves of his life! If you have any more questions, just flash the bat signal in the sky and he'll be there. If you have a story idea he would love to hear it. Just drop him an email or connect on social media.
