Thirteen-year-old Katelyn loves horses and animals. She loves helping children and dreams of someday becoming an equestrian therapist ... or possibly a lawyer specializing in child-law.

Katelyn loves animals and pets. A dream of hers is to rescue as many homeless animals as possible. She would like a home that has or allows pets.

Katelyn is exceptionally bright. She's going into the 8th grade. She gets good grades and loves school. History and social studies are her favorite subjects-she finds learning about the past is very interesting and helps her understand the current world around her. She's been a student of the month, twice, and has once made the principals list.

She is a voracious reader and vampire books are her favorite. She also sings and has been told she has a very sweet voice, but she doesn't like to sing for others unless she is part of a choir or production. She might consider trying out for American Idol sometime.

Katelyn draws super models and Hollywood stars in her spare time. She would very much like to see them walk down the red carpet as they go to one of the many shows or celebrity events. She also thinks going to Egypt to see and explore the pyramids and the ancient temples of the Pharos would be extremely interesting and captivating.

Even though she has suffered rejection and neglect, Katelyn is a very thoughtful and giving young woman. She lives the fullest each day hoping she will find a family to share her love. She hopes a potential family will have horses and other pets, siblings for her to help and play with and be adventurous and busy. She wants a family that will support her dreams of finishing high school, going to college and then becoming either that special lawyer or equestrian therapist, helping people who've been through traumatic events.
