- Looking for volunteers to read with a classroom during their Reading is Fundamental (RIF) celebration, November 17th-21st and November 24th between 8 am to 11:30 am
Beatitudes Center DOAR
- Looking for volunteers to provide assistance to older or disabled adults by helping them with grocery shopping, friendly visiting, transportation to medical appointments, minor home repairs, paperwork and computer assistance
Gabriel's Angels
- Sign up to be a Pet Therapy Team with your child friendly, predictable and well mannered dog. You and your pet for one hour every week, or every other week, would deliver healing pet therapy to children in group homes who have been abused and neglected, We also need a Helping Hand volunteer to assist the Pet Therapy Team if you do not own a dog.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Phoenix
- BASKETBALL COACH:
Volunteer to be a Basketball Coach at one of the Boys & Girls Clubs locations. No experience necessary. Help to build our community's kids skills and self esteem. Volunteer coaches are needed December through February for two hours per week.
- TUTOR:
Volunteer to be a Tutor at one of the Boys & Girls Clubs locations after school programs. You can improve a child's life by giving them the support they need to succeed in school. Volunteer Tutors are needed once a week for one hour.
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)
- TAX PREPARERS/ GREETERS/SITE COORDINATOR/INSTURCTORS
The VITA program offers free tax help to low to moderate income families and individuals who cannot prepare their own tax returns. Volunteers receive FREE training by the IRS on how to prepare basic tax returns.
