Rebecca Taylor

Reporter

3TV

Rebecca Taylor joined the 3TV family in June 2003 as a reporter. She spent more than a year covering news in Tucson, and moved to Phoenix to report full time in February 2005.

Taylor began her career at KFBB in Great Falls, Mont., where she anchored the morning and midday newscasts. During her time in Great Falls, Taylor received an award from Malmstrom Air Force Base for her coverage of troop deployment for Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Taylor's next stint in television took her to KMSB in Tucson, where she was raised. Taylor was the first on-air reporter for the station.

"I was proud to work in the television market with the anchors and reporters that I grew up watching and admiring," Taylor said.

From investigative pieces to politics, features to University of Arizona sports, Taylor covered a variety of assignments.

In addition to her on-air work there, Taylor volunteered at The Cottage, a thrift store in which proceeds go to help the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart.

Taylor earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona in communications and music. She received three scholarship offers related to her talent playing the clarinet.

Taylor is a huge country music fan and in her spare time writes and sings her own songs.
